Key Updates
General Feature
Increasing the Maximum Number of Columns for Data Importing
In Ver.8.0.0, the system allows a maximum of 500 columns for data importing, which corresponds to the maximum limit of 500 fields allowed in a form. This update allows you to directly import large amounts of data from an external database.
Open Platform
Optimizing Workflow-Related APIs
In this update, Workflow Instance Query API and **Workflow Task Query API** will be upgraded to V2. Two new response parameters have been introduced:
- tasks[].create_action: refers to the workflow actions for task creation.
- tasks[].finish_action: refers to the workflow actions for task completion.
Optimizing Syntax Error Reporting in Custom Plugin Code
During the plugin designing process, the Python code view now has been updated to include a feature that reports errors in the editor when you save your code. This update helps developers easily spot any syntax errors in their code and rectify them promptly, providing a more intuitive and efficient development experience.
Optimizing Online API Document
1. Parameter reference
On the open platform, a new document is introduced: Parameter Reference.
In the document, you can switch between apps/forms to quickly identify the parameters required for API testing.
2. API testing
API Console allows you to debug an API on the API debugging platform.
Besides going to the debugging platform in Parameter Reference > API Console, you can also click API Explorer in the corresponding document to access the platform.
To debug an API, select an API to be debugged enter the API key, and request parameters on the debugging platform.
App Template
Optimizing the App Template — Inventory Management (QR Scanning Version)
In this update, the Inventory Management (QR Scanning Version) template is optimized. It now allows you to add data by scanning barcodes or QR codes of products. Our data linkage feature automatically matches additional information related to the scanned item. This update improves order accuracy for inbound and outbound operations, simplifies data recording through code scanning, and enhances order fulfillment efficiency.

Form Management
Exporting Image/Attachment as URL into Excel File
In Ver.8.1.0, you can export images/attachments from your form as URLs, and save the URLs into the exported Excel files.
